    • Mosquito, Black Fly, and Tick Control: specialized certification allowing us to safely manage nuisance and disease-carrying insects, keeping your outdoor living spaces comfortable and secure.

    • MDA Nursery Stock Dealer License: Guarantees that all trees, shrubs, and perennials we bring to your property are state-inspected for health, quality, and disease resistance.

    • Power Limited Technician License (MN): A strict state requirement ensuring that your custom low-voltage landscape lighting is installed safely and completely up to electrical code.

  • Yes. For your complete peace of mind and protection, Lenz Lawn Care carries comprehensive insurance coverage. This includes both General Liability insurance to protect your home and property, as well as full Workers' Compensation insurance for our entire crew. This ensures that in the rare event of an accident or injury on the job, you as the homeowner or property manager are never held liable.

Lawn Care & Maintenance

  • Cutting grass at this specific height is vital for turf health. It promotes deeper root growth, shades the soil to retain moisture, and naturally crowds out weeds, giving you a more resilient lawn.

  • We generally recommend mulching clippings to return essential nutrients to the soil. However, we do offer grass bagging and off-site composting upon request or when necessary to maintain a pristine finish.

Landscaping & Plant Care

  • Yes, the state requires annual backflow testing to ensure contaminated water doesn't enter the public drinking supply. The only exception is if your irrigation system draws water directly from a lake. Our licensed technicians handle this testing during your Spring Startup.

  • It depends on the plant! We follow a strict seasonal calendar. For example, Yes. By utilizing Wi-Fi and weather-sensing technology, smart controllers adjust watering schedules based on real-time rain and temperature data, significantly reducing water waste and lowering your utility bills.

Shoreline Restoration & Hardscape

  • Yes, working on a shoreline requires strict adherence to Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and local city regulations. We handle all the coordination and permitting to ensure your project is fully compliant and your investment is protected.
